Ingredients
- Pork Roast - We used a 2.5-pound pork loin roast for this recipe.
- Olive Oil - If you prefer to use another mild-flavored oil like grapeseed oil or avocado oil, that would be fine. When using an air fryer, you can even omit the oil, but we like how it helps the salt and pepper adhere to the meat and helps the pork to form a crust faster, keeping the inside moist and juicy.
- Salt & Pepper - We decided to just season the pork with some kosher salt or sea salt and black pepper to let the true flavor of the meat shine through. You can really season your pork loin roast however you'd like, and we offer variations below.

How to Make Air Fryer Roast Pork
1️⃣ Season the Roast
Season the pork. We just drizzled with a bit of olive oil and sprinkled with salt and pepper.

2️⃣ Air Fry the Pork
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Add the seasoned pork. Air fry the pork at 400 for 30 minutes. Flip the roast over and cook for an additional 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135.
Tip: The pork will continue to cook when removed from the air fryer because of the crust that has formed. As you let it rest, the internal temp on an instant read thermometer should rise to the recommended 145 degrees for a pork roast.
Storage
Make sure to store any leftover pork roast in an airtight container in the fridge. We are generally pretty casual about how long to keep things in the refrigerator, but the recommended time for cooked meat is 3-4 days. I do not recommend freezing cooked pork. It tends to dry out.

Variations
- Herbs - Our favorite herbs to use on pork are rosemary, thyme, and sage. You can add any of these to the seasoning before you rub it on the air fryer pork loin roast.
- Spices - Next up are spices. Onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, and ground mustard are nice choices to add to the dry rub seasoning mix.
- Sauces - You can also just cook the air fryer pork roast as we have directed but make a fantastic sauce to serve with it. Try it with our Maple Bourbon Glaze or Hot Honey BBQ Sauce.
- Sweetness - Adding a little brown sugar to the seasoning blend can enhance the natural sweetness of the pork and give the outside a nice glaze.

Lovely recipe! I used a silicone liner in my Ninja Foodi, time and temp as written. I only added a few more seasonings to fit my tastes - garlic powder, thyme, parsley. The meat came out so moist and flavorful! A wonderful, easy recipe for an economical protein!
