Air Fryer Brisket is the best recipe for fork-tender delicious beef. Use this beef brisket recipe for a quick and easy dinner and as a way to cook a brisket in a short amount of time.
Every time I've made this recipe, it yields delicious results. The tender brisket is juicy and flavorful. Air frying is a great way to cook a perfect juicy brisket in a short amount of time.
Add the right amount of seasoning, and let the air fryer do the rest. This recipe is a great option to cook a tougher cut of meat and have it be succulent and moist in a few minutes of cook time.

Ingredients
- Brisket - Make sure that it fits into the air fryer easily. You don't want to shove or stuff it in. You might have to cut it in half to get it to fit in the air fryer basket.
- Salt - For flavor and tenderness.
- Smoked paprika - You can also use regular paprika but we love the smoke flavor that smoked paprika has.
- Black pepper - For flavor. Use as much or as little as you like.

How to Make Air Fryer Brisket
Using the air fryer cuts down on the cooking time and of time as opposed to slow cooking or smoking it.
Step One: Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees.
Step Two: Add the seasonings onto the top of the brisket meat. Flip and season the bottom.
Step Three: Place the brisket in the air fryer fat side up.
Step Four: Cook the brisket for 20 minutes, and let the brisket rest for 10 minutes.
Top tip
Once you cook the crispy brisket, you can pair the tender meat with your favorite barbecue sauce or dipping sauce. Some people like only a dry rub, which is why keeping the added sauces on the side gives the best results for feeding a crowd. People can then choose their top picks for BBQ sauce and add it to their portion.
Variations
- Use different seasonings - Adding brown sugar to the top of the brisket is a fun way to make this easy recipe sweet while adding dry rubs or seasonings like garlic powder gives it more of a savory taste. When you're cooking beef brisket, vary the seasonings that you add to change the flavor.

Equipment
This easy air fryer beef brisket recipe only needs an air fryer to cook it. We use an Instant Pot with an air fryer lid. Any brand that you have at home would be fine.
Storage
Having leftover brisket is a great way to extend the flavor and cost of the meat. You can cut it into brisket slices for a sandwich or enjoy it just like it is.
The best way to store leftovers is to let the meat cool to room temperature and then store them in an airtight container. They must be kept in the fridge and reheated thoroughly the next time that you're going to reheat and eat.
You can reheat using the air fryer, microwave, or low and slow in the oven.
Common Questions
Using a meat thermometer is the best idea to ensure that the beef is fully cooked. The higher temperatures of the air fryer produce quick cook times, but checking the internal temperature of the meat is the only way to verify that it's cooked and safe.
Once the cooking time has passed, insert the tip of the meat thermometer into the beef. As long as it reads 150 degrees, the beef is safe to cut and enjoy.
The easy way to serve this cooked beef is to slice and serve. You can cut it into thin slices, thick slices, or a mixture of both. It's important to let the beef rest for 10-15 minutes after cooking so that the delicious juices get released back into the meat.
This helps to keep it tender and juicy and also allows for the full flavor to be present in the main dish.
I'm all about potatoes, so some of my favorite sides would be baked potato or french fries. You can make whatever side strikes your fancy to pair with this dish, as most flavors work just fine.
