Mix even amounts of crushed candy canes and boiling water in a small measuring cup. Stir until the candy cane is completely dissolved. The water will turn pink.
Martini
Place three ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Add two ounces of vodka and an ounce of candy cane simple syrup. Shake for five seconds and then drain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a mini candy cane.
