Ingredients
Lavender Simple Syrup

sugar
or sugar-free 1:1 sweetener
½
cup
water

sprig
fresh lavender
One Cocktail (can be doubled or tripled)

vodka

lavender simple syrup

oz
fresh lemon juice
lemon seltzer
optional
Instructions
Lavender Simple Syrup
Combine the water and sugar and simmer over medium heat until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat.
Add the fresh chopped lavender. Let sit for at least 5 minutes. For the best flavor let it come down to room temperature (about 30 minutes).
Strain out the lavender. Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Lavender Lemon Cocktail
Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake well.
Pour over ice. Garnish with fresh lavender and lemon slices.
Optional: Top with lemon seltzer for a lighter spritzer.
